Joachim Kouraleyo Tarounga (* 1958 in Donia , Chad ) is Bishop of Moundou .

Life

Joachim Kouraleyo Tarounga studied in his home country, in Cameroon , in Côte d'Ivoire (ICAO) and in Paris ( Institut Catholique ), where he obtained a licentiate in theology .

He was ordained a priest on November 18, 1989 and incardinated in the Diocese of Doba. After that he was vicar , parish priest, professor and regens at the major seminary in N'Djamena . He was also pastoral representative of the diocese of Doba, general secretary of the “Rencontre Sacerdotale et Religieuse des Africains au Tchad” and university chaplain in N'Djamena.

On June 3, 2004, he was appointed Bishop of Moundou by Pope John Paul II . The Bishop of Doba , Michele Russo , donated him episcopal ordination on September 12, 2004; Co- consecrators were Matthias N'Gartéri Mayadi , Archbishop of N'Djaména , and the Bishop of Pala Jean-Claude Bouchard .
