The Roman Catholic Diocese of Doba ( lat. : Dioecesis Dobanus ) is in Chad location Roman Catholic diocese based in Doba .

history

The diocese of Doba was established on March 6, 1989 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Inter cetera from cessions of territory from the diocese of Moundou and subordinated to the archdiocese of N'Djaména as a suffragan . First Bishop was Michele Russo MCCJ .

The diocese of Doba gave on November 28, 1998 parts of its territory to establish the dioceses of Goré and Lai .
