biography

Verdú completed an FIS race for the first time in December 2010; in the giant slalom in Geilo he finished 60th.

At the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games , Verdú won the bronze medal in the Super-G. In November 2012 he competed in the European Cup for the first time when he could not qualify for the second round in the giant slalom in Levi . Verdú made his World Cup debut in October 2016; he was 64th in the first round in the giant slalom in Sölden and thus clearly missed the qualification for the second round. In January 2017 Verdú collected European Cup points for the first time; in the giant slalom in Davos he was 10th. To date, however, he has not been able to get any World Cup points.

In 2013 and 2017 Verdú took part in the Alpine World Ski Championships. His best result was a 27th place in the combination in 2017. In 2014 he also took part in the Olympic Winter Games; he only competed in the giant slalom and was eliminated there in the first round.
