Jobst lead thorn
Jobst Bleidorn (baptized March 24, 1639 in Hildesheim ; buried November 16, 1677 there ) was a German sculptor of the late Renaissance .
Two signed works by Jobst Bleidorn on the Marktkirche in Hanover are known, the epitaph of Johann Kleine († 1672) on the tower with the depiction of the Descent from the Cross and the epitaph of Eberhard von Anderten († 1674) above the organ gallery with the depiction of the lamentation of Christ . He is also mentioned in an inscription on the Nikolaikapelle in Hanover.
Bleidornstrasse , which was laid out in 1934 in the Hanover district of Groß-Buchholz, is named after him.
