Jocelyn Brando (born November 18, 1919 in San Francisco , California - † November 27, 2005 in Santa Monica , California) was an American actress .

Life

Jocelyn Brando was born in San Francisco in 1919, the daughter of a traveling salesman. She was the older sister of Marlon Brando (1924-2004).

Like her mother, Jocelyn was primarily involved in the theater, but also made twelve films with her brother Marlon. In the 1940s she started her career on Broadway with the play Mister Roberts .

In 1953 she starred in Hot Iron , directed by Fritz Lang, with Glenn Ford . She had her last film appearance in a well-known film production in 1981 in My dear Raven Mother as a gossip reporter Barbara Bennett alongside Faye Dunaway . In addition, she took part in over 50 appearances in TV series such as Kojak - Use in Manhattan and Dallas . In the horror film The Night of the Scarecrow , she played Mrs. Ritter.
