Jochen Blume

Jochen Blume , also: Jack Blum , (born January 21, 1910 in Görlitz ; † June 18, 1980 ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

The trained businessman made his stage debut in Berlin in 1931. His career took him to Gera , Heidelberg and Hamburg , where he appeared at the Theater im Zimmer , as well as to South America.

Apart from an early role in the literary film adaptation of Maturing Youth from 1933, Blume has worked as a supporting actor in film and television productions since the early 1950s. In 1959, in the two-parter The Tiger of Eschnapur and The Indian Tomb , he was seen as the engineer Asagara, who vacillates between loyalty to his Indian master and sympathy for his European guests. He played Senior Secretary Zink in the television series Port Police . In addition to working as a radio play and voice actor, he also worked as a tour director and playwright. The Oberammergau Passion Play performed in 1969 was based on a stage version he wrote. Jochen Blume was buried in the community cemetery in Aschau / Chiemgau.
