Joe Lally

Joe Lally (born December 3, 1963 in Silver Spring , Maryland ) is an American bassist . He became known through his work with the band Fugazi .

In 2002 he joined the band The Black Sea of the two musicians Shelby Cinca and Jason Hamacher. However, these later renamed themselves Decahedron and released an EP and an album. Then Lally resigned from the band. In 2004 he founded the band Ataxia together with John Frusciante and Josh Klinghoffer . The two albums Automatic Writing (2004) and AW II (2007) were released.

In 2006 he played solo shows in American schools and released his first solo album There To Here . In 2007 he toured the US with the band Capillary Action . That same year he released his second solo album, Nothing Is Underrated . In 2011 he toured Italy, France and Switzerland and released his third album, Why Should I Get Used to It , on April 26th of the same year .
