Joey Grit Winkler (actually Grit Winkler ; born June 4, 1975 ) is a German presenter , journalist , trainer and producer .

Winkler grew up in Brandenburg. She received lessons in apparatus gymnastics and modern dance as well as guitar, piano and singing lessons. She later lived in Berlin , Cologne , Düsseldorf , New York and Munich .

After graduating from high school, Winkler studied finance from 1994 to 1998 and became a tax auditor in the tax office. Shortly afterwards she became an entertainer on the holiday islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura . In 1999 she went to New York as an au pair , where she was an assistant at the Emilin Theater in Mamaroneck and took acting courses at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute . From 2000 she gained her first experience as a freelance editor and presenter at the radio stations Antenne Brandenburg , Radio Köln and RPR1 . In addition, she was a fitness trainer and step aerobics teacher.

Winkler has three sons with a Canadian cameraman and entrepreneur.

TV career

In 2001 Winkler switched to television and became an editor at CNN Germany. From 2001 to 2005 she worked for NBC Europe as a presenter and editor for the interactive live broadcast GIGA green . In addition to her television work, she studied journalism by distance learning (2001-2004). Since 2005 she has moderated galas, award ceremonies and other events.

From 2005 to 2014, Winkler was a presenter on RTL II in the Welt-der-Wunder -Wissensdmission Schau Dich schlau! In 2009 she was the premiere presenter for the pay-per-view portal Premiere Direkt and the entertainment format Inside Premiere , alternating with Jessica Kastrop and partly for the 45-minute talk Showpalast . From 2009 to 2012 she worked at Sky Deutschland for the pay-per-view service Sky Select and was a studio presenter, host and on-location reporter for Sky Magazine . Winkler has been working as a coach and trainer since 2015. She gives presentation / camera and stage training. Since 2017 she has also been a freelance producer for image films, blended learning, and YouTube channels. Since 2019, Winkler has been hosting the programs “Green Life”, “Ladylike” and “Kids” on Welt der Wunder TV again. Since 2020 Winkler has also been one of four presenters of the one-hour live program “TV Bayern Live” on RTL Bayern.
