Johan Dielemans

Johan Dieleman (* around 1939) is a Dutch jazz - drummer , who for many years in Sweden worked.

Dielemans played in Germany with the 7th Army Jazz Band (including Manfred Eicher as bassist), in France with the pianist Rob Franken , in Sweden a. a. with Bobo Stenson , Palle Danielsson , Toots Thielemans , Bob Florence , Bill Holman , Dexter Gordon , Bob Brookmeyer , Phil Wilson , Georgie Fame and Teddy Wilson . The first recordings were made in 1975 with Monica Zetterlund , with whom he worked until the 1990s. In the 1980s he also accompanied the singers Cyndee Peters and Svante Thuresson; he was also a member of the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra . In the 1990s he played with John Högman and Jan Allan ; in the 2010s he worked on The Hague Jazz Project ( Daydream , 2012). In the field of jazz he was involved in 38 recording sessions between 1975 and 1997, outside of jazz also with Rune Andersson & Lena Nyman , Cornelis Vreeswijk and Sonya Hedenbratt . In 1995 he presented the album Round Midnight with his Johan Dielemans Trio .
