Johann von Luxemburg (French: Jean de Luxembourg , * around 1436; † June 22, 1476 in Murten ) from the House of Luxemburg-Ligny was Count of Marle and Soissons and a Burgundian troop leader.

Johann's parents were Ludwig I of Luxembourg, Gf. von Saint-Pol († 1475) and Johanna von Bar . After his mother's death in 1462, he inherited the counties of Marle and Soissons.

He served the dukes of Burgundy , Philip the Good and Charles the Bold , as a troop leader. In 1471 Duke Karl appointed him leader of the rearguard in the Burgundian army and in 1473 he was accepted into the Order of the Golden Fleece . On June 22nd, 1476 Johann fell during the battle of Murten .
Since he died unmarried, his property passed to his brother Peter II .
