Fr. Johannes Baptist Stöger C.Ss.R. (* 4. October 1810 in Enzersfeld , † 3. November 1883 in Eggenburg ) was a lay brother of the Redemptorists - the Congregation .

Stöger entered the Maria am Gestade monastery in Vienna on January 1, 1836 . From September 1836 he completed his novitiate in the Redemptorist College in Eggenburg . On March 18, 1840, he took religious vows. For forty-six years he lived in the congregation as a cook, baker, gardener, and other humble ministers. The canonical process of beatification was initiated on November 17, 1898. The apostolic process was completed on January 23, 1923. On October 30, 1900, he was buried in a grave of honor in the monastery church in Eggenburg.
