Johann Christian Krüger (writer)

Johann Christian Krüger (born November 14, 1723 in Berlin , † August 23, 1750 in Hamburg ) was a German writer , actor and playwright .

Life

He was the son of a shoemaker, studied in Halle and Wittenberg theology and was 1,742 actors in the Schönemann's troops . For these he also wrote pieces and made translations from French. Gotthold Ephraim Lessing treats him in the 83rd play of his Hamburg Dramaturgy. A collection of his works appeared in 1763.
