Johann Conrad Glas

Johann Conrad Glas (s) (also: Konrad ) (* March 16, 1787 in Selters ; † March 30, 1852 ibid) was a Hessian farmer and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johann Conrad Glas was the son of the mayor Johann Glas (s) and his wife Elisabeth, née Sellheim. Glass, who was of Protestant faith, was a farmer in Selters and married Susanna nee Klein (1792-1825).

From 1826 to 1830 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen13 / Gedern-Ortenberg . He represented liberal positions in the estates. He was the mayor of Selters.
