Karl Daniel Kümmich

Karl Daniel Kümmich (full name Friedrich Daniel Karl Kümmich , born March 20, 1798 in Friedberg , † March 3, 1856 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian Protestant pastor and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse ( Lib ).

Karl Daniel Kümmich was the son of the businessman Georg Kümmich (1751–1821) and his wife Helene Margarethe, née Rupprecht. Kümmich, who was Protestant, married Elisabeth Margarethe nee Jäger (1800–1872).

Kümmich studied theology in Giessen and Heidelberg. He became vicar in Ortenberg in 1824 and pastor there in 1825. In 1835 he moved to Oppenheim as a pastor . In 1837 he became a member and councilor of the Darmstadt Upper Consistory of the Evangelical Church in Hesse . In 1849 he became a councilor to the senior university administration before retiring in 1853. In 1855 he received the doctorate to Dr. theol. hc

From 1838 to 1841 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen13 / Gedern-Ortenberg .
