Johann Daniel Köppel

Johann Daniel Koeppel , even Keppel and coupling (* around 1700, † the second half of the 18th century), was an architect of the Baroque . He is referred to in the sources as a Hanoverian . His area of ​​activity was the northern Harz foreland , especially the Hildesheim field monasteries .

Köppel was a student of Francesco Mitta . In 1729 he married his second daughter Maria Agnes in Grauhof . In 1732 he became master builder in Hildesheim.

In the Goslar district of Ohlhof , the Daniel-Köppel-Weg is named after him.
