Johann Friedrich Hermann Pinno (born March 16, 1831 in Kleinkamsdorf ; † September 6, 1902 in Berlin-Charlottenburg ) was a Prussian mountain official .

Life

Pinno was born on March 16, 1831 in Kleinkamsdorf, the son of the then shift supervisor of the union of the united districts of Kamsdorf .

After obtaining his school- leaving certificate at the Gymnasium in Kloster- Roßleben , he was accepted as a miner enthusiast at the Wettin Mining Authority on October 21, 1851 .

He completed the usual year of probation in the Wettin and Löbejun coal mines . There he passed his tentamen (= preliminary examination) on November 15, 1852. This was followed by studies in the Halle lignite industry and lectures at the Eisleben mountain school . Furthermore, since Michaelis (= September 29th) 1854 academic studies followed in Berlin and from 1856 in Halle .

On June 17, 1859, he was appointed mountain trainee , and on November 18, 1862, after completing the mandatory preparatory service, he was appointed mountain assessor. As such he was employed at the Royal Salt Works in Staßfurt . In 1867 he was promoted to mining inspector ; In 1869 he was appointed a mountain ridge . In Staßfurt he worked as a mining director until 1878.

On March 2, 1878 Pinno received his certificate of appointment to the Oberbergrat and was transferred to the Oberbergamt Halle . In this capacity, he followed, among other things, a request from the ducal administration in Mecklenburg to provide an expert opinion on the way in which lignite was extracted in the Malliss area (south-west Mecklenburg).

With the date of July 31, 1880, he gives a comprehensive and detailed insight into the Malliss mine tour at that time and warns of far-reaching changes.

From November 1, 1891, he was appointed mining captain and director of the Oberbergamt zu Breslau . He held this position until he retired on October 1, 1896.

To retire from the Prussian civil service, he received the appointment to the real secret Oberbergrat with the rank of councilors first class.

Oberbergrat Johann Friedrich Hermann Pinno died on September 26, 1902 at the age of 71 in Charlottenburg.

His work in the Staßfurt salt mining as well as in the Silesian mining is worthy of all honor.
