Johann Friedrich Malotki von Trzebiatowsky (born September 18, 1784 in Prenzlau , † March 24, 1854 in Witoldowo, Bromberg district ) was a German district administrator .

Life

Origin and family

Johann Friedrich was a member of the Pomeranian noble family von Malotki . His parents were the Prussian manor and cavalry master Johann Friedrich Malotki von Trzebiatowski († 1794) and his wife Tugendreich Sophie Friederike von Münchow († 1803). On May 29, 1818, he married Frederika Amalia Schrimpff in Iserlohn. The Prussian major general Friedrich Wilhelm Malotki von Trzebiatowski was his younger brother.

Professional background

In 1797 he joined the von Kleist regiment , was promoted to second lieutenant on January 14, 1804 and was employed in the von Hülsen grenadier battalion on November 9, 1810 for health reasons. From April 1813 he was a captain and company commander in the 5th Kurmärkische Landwehr Infantry Regiment and on August 8, 1814, he became the district brigadier of the gendarmerie in Hagen, later in Arnsberg. He had received his departure from the gendarmerie on December 30, 1820 with the rank of major .

On September 23, 1823 he was appointed District Administrator of the Wiedenbrück district after he had tried several times to transfer the office . He stayed in this office until December 1, 1848, when he asked for retirement.
