Johann Georg Hüngerlin ( April 15, 1551 in Heilbronn ; † December 18, 1629 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg Lutheran pastor, church council director and professor of theology at the University of Tübingen . He later became a secret councilor and director of the church council in Stuttgart. According to other sources, he was also a consistorial councilor and court judge.

Life

Johann Georg Hüngerlin was appointed to the parish of Neckargartach in 1576 , but could not take up his position due to disputes between the Teutonic Order and the city of Heilbronn , because they wanted to put a Catholic vicar at his side, but this did not happen.

He married Regine Dreher on November 20, 1576 in Güglingen and had a daughter with her, Regine Magdalene Hüngerlin (born January 31, 1581 in Güglingen).
