Johann Gottlieb Schulze (* around 1805 ; † 1870 ) was a German organ builder in Crossen in Neumark .

Life

Johann Gottlieb Schulze was a student and journeyman of Ludwig Hartig . Since 1837 at the latest he has been working as an organ builder in Crossen on the Oder (today Krosno Odrzańskie). His foreman Robert Knechtel went into business for himself in 1856. One of the last known new organs was built in 1870.

Works (selection)

About 15 new organs by Johann Gottlieb Schulze are known in Neumark and Niederlausitz , as well as some repairs. The organs in Wellmitz , Wicina ( Witzen ) and partly in Nowa Rola (Niewerle), as well as the brochures in Groß Kölzig and Neu Zauche have been preserved .
