Johann Heinrich Tischbein (* 28. November 1742 in Haina , † 22. December 1808 in Kassel ), called the Younger , was a painter and engraver of the Hesse family of artists Tischbein .

Johann Heinrich Tischbein the Younger was the son of Johann Konrad Tischbein (1712–1778), a monastery carpenter in Haina, and the older brother of Johann Heinrich Wilhelm , the so-called Goethe – Tischbein .
