Johann Julian Taupe

Johann Julian Taupe (* 1954 in Gritschach ) is an Austrian painter and graphic artist .

Live and act

The artist, who lives and works in Vienna and Carinthia , attended the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1976 to 1981 and studied with Max Weiler . From 1981 to 1983 he was a lecturer with Arnulf Rainer and in 1983/1984 he took advantage of the Austrian State Scholarship for Fine Arts. He gained international experience as a Humanic Artist in Residence in Geneva in 1984, in 2002 through the Fundaciòn Valparaiso in Mojàr, Almería and in 2011 through a grant from the Province of Carinthia in Paris .
