Johann Landes
Johann Georg Landes (born April 15, 1831 in Etting ; † May 21, 1894 in Munich ) was an entrepreneur and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Landes attended the elementary school in Etting and the technical schools in Schleissheim and Munich for agriculture, mechanics and mill construction. From 1856 he was self-employed and in 1858 founded the JG Landes machine factory in Munich. From 1878 he was municipal representative and from 1881 to 1886 member of the state parliament for Munich II. From 1887 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Upper Bavaria 2 Munich II ( Isarvorstadt , Ludwigsvorstadt , Au , Haidhausen , Giesing ), Munich-Land , Starnberg , Wolfratshausen and the German Center Party .
