Johann Meyer (politician, 1752)

Johannes Meyer , also Johann Meyer (born October 18, 1752 in Grünberg ; † January 11, 1830 there ) was a Hessian manufacturer and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johann Meyer was the son of the master cloth maker Johann Valentin Meyer and his wife Anna Katharina, née Keuder. Meyer, who was of Protestant faith, was a manufacturer in Grünberg and married Elisabetha Katharina nee Hartmann there on October 10, 1777.

From 1820 to 1824 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 8 / Grünberg .
