Karl Bucking

Johann Karl Bücking (born October 14, 1809 in Gießen ; † September 10, 1866 there ) was a Hessian lawyer and politician and a former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Karl Bücking was the son of the businessman Johann Martin Ludwig Bücking (1771–1828) and his wife Maria Hedwig nee Bersch (1783–1854). Karl Bücking, who was of Protestant denomination, married Amalie, née Groos (1824–1903), in Homberg (Ohm) in 1846 , the daughter of the merchant Wilhelm Groos and Charlotte Sophie née Klingelhöffer.

education and profession

Karl Bücking became a member of the Old Giessener Burschenschaft Germania during his law studies in 1827 . After completing his studies, he was an accessist at the Giessen court . In 1841 he became an assessor with a vote at the Schlitz Regional Court , in 1842 the same at the Grünberg Regional Court and in 1848 at the Giessen Regional Court . In 1855 he was judge in Laubach and in 1857 in Butzbach .

politics

In the 16th electoral period (1859–1862) Karl Bücking was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the estates he represented the constituency of Oberhessen 4 / Grünberg .
