Karl Theodor Schönfeld

Karl Theodor Schönfeld (also Carl ) (born April 29, 1836 in Wöllstein ; † September 1, 1917 in Schotten ) was a Hessian civil servant and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Karl Theodor Schönfeld was the son of pastor Philipp Schönfeld and his wife Caroline, née Maier. Schönfeld, who was a Protestant, remained unmarried.

Schönfeld studied law and became a member of the government. In 1868 he became district assessor in Grünberg, in 1874 in Büdingen and in 1876 in Dieburg. In 1882 he became a district councilor in the Lauterbach district and in 1887 in the Schotten district . In 1896 he was given the title of Privy Councilor and was retired in 1911.

From 1892 to 1902 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 6 / Grünberg .
