Johann Philipp Weitzel

Johann Philipp Weitzel (in official documents Johann Philipp Weitzel II. ) (Born June 26, 1826 in Ober-Ingelheim ; † September 6, 1903 in Nieder-Ingelheim ) was a Hessian landowner and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johann Philipp Weitzel was the son of the farmer Johan Philipp Weitzel and his wife Katharina, nee Weyell. Weitzel, who was Protestant, was a landowner in Nieder-Ingelheim and married Elisabeth nee Moller.

From 1879 to 1884 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 9 / Ober-Ingelheim . From 1862 to 1882 he was mayor of Nieder-Ingelheim.
