Johann Rautenstrauch

Johann Rautenstrauch (born January 10, 1746 in Erlangen , Germany , † January 8, 1801 in Vienna , Austria ) was an Austrian satirist of the Enlightenment and court agent .

In 1770 Rautenstrauch came to Vienna, where he turned to political, historical and ecclesiastical journalism , partly under his pseudonym Arnold Ehrlich , in line with Joseph II's reform policy .
