Johann Samuel Adler (* 1738 in Breslau , Habsburg Monarchy , HRR ; † September 11, 1799 in Berlin , Kingdom of Prussia , HRR ) was a Prussian civil servant, including war and domain council of the Kurmärkischen war and domain chamber .

career

Adler, whose city of birth Breslau became Prussian shortly after his birth, studied law in Halle from 1755 , worked as a registrar at the Breslauer Kammer , was first as an auditor from 1761 , then as a regimental quartermaster in the Dragoon Regiment 1 under Johann Wenzel von Zastrow , from 1774 under Friedrich Albrecht Carl Hermann von Wylich and Lottum say they have served in the military for fifteen years. After he had passed his major exam on March 18, 1775, he tried in vain to become a tax advisor in Ruppin in the fall . Following a recommendation to Hans Ernst Dietrich von Werder , he became War and Domain Councilor of the Kurmärkische Kammer in May 1782 , in his previous office he was replaced by Johann Christian Friedrich Schwieger . After divorcing his wife, a born von Wildenbruch, he asked in vain for two additional offices, the office of assessor of the newly created commercial authority of the Kurmark and that of the co-director of the Kurmark Excise Directorate . In 1794 he was the head of all generalia in commercial and industrial matters, processor of Berlin affairs and a member of the chamber's own examination committee.

He died on September 11, 1799, Carl Friedrich Wiesiger succeeded him as war and domain councilor.
