Johanna-Gerlinde Feilcke

Johanna-Gerlinde Feilcke (born August 14, 1934 in Bernstadt , Oels , Silesia , † November 10, 2015 in Flensburg , also Hannelind Feilcke ) was a German politician and member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

Johanna-Gerlinde Feilcke worked in a factory for six months after graduating from high school. She also worked in welfare for six months and then in a household in Lausanne for another six months . She then studied law up to the first state examination and broke off her legal clerkship when her second child was born. She was then a housewife.

politics

In 1957 Johanna-Gerlinde Feilcke joined the CDU. She became a member of the Hamburg-Harburg district assembly , member of the party arbitration court of the CDU, local chairwoman and district board member.

In 1966 she was elected as a member of the Hamburg parliament. Her work there focused on school, budget and cultural policy. In 1970, she put her mandate down because she moved to Flensburg. There she became, among other things, deputy chairwoman of the CDU women's union and from 1974 to 1994 councilwoman. Various party offices followed.

Johanna-Gerlinde Feilcke was married. When she was elected to the Hamburg parliament, she had four children. During her parliamentary term, she became the mother of two other children. At the end of their term of office, the children were twelve, ten, eight, five, two and one year old. Feilcke was only able to cope with the time-consuming political work in the Hamburg parliament because she could employ household help with the diets .
