Johanna Maria Helène Ahlm (born October 3, 1987 in Gothenburg , Sweden ) is a former Swedish handball player .

Career

Ahlm played for the Swedish first division club IK Sävehof until 2009 , with whom she won the Swedish championship in 2006, 2007 and 2009. In the summer of 2009, the backcourt player moved to the Danish club Aalborg DH . In October 2009 Ahlm was loaned to league rivals Viborg HK until the end of the season. With Viborg she won the EHF Champions League and the Danish championship in 2010 . Then she signed a contract with the VHK. From the 2013/14 season she played for the league rival team Esbjerg . In summer 2015 she joined FC Midtjylland Håndbold . With Midtjylland she won the Danish Cup in 2015. Ahlm returned to IK Sävehof in summer 2016. With Sävehof she won the Swedish championship in 2018 and 2019. After the 2018/19 season, she ended her career.

Ahlm played 141 international matches for the Swedish national team , in which they scored 460 goals. The Swedish handball player of the year 2008 took part with Sweden in the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she failed in the quarter-finals at what would later become Olympic champion Norway. She was part of the squad of her national association at the 2009 World Cup in China . In summer 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London . At the 2014 European Championships , she won the bronze medal with Sweden.
