Johanna Bucher

Johanna Bucher (born August 2, 1921 in Breslau- Klein Heidau, † March 27, 1996 in Heidelberg ) was a German actress .

Life

After graduating from high school, she took private acting lessons from Herma Clement . In 1948 she was engaged at the Fritz Genschow fairy tale theater. Further engagements took her to the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm , the Neue Bühne Berlin and the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz . In 1954 she played in the Volksbühne Armgard in Wilhelm Tell and in 1955 Isabell in Der Richter von Zalamea . From 1970 until her retirement she was employed at the Theater der Stadt Heidelberg , where she a. a. who played Winnie in Samuel Beckett's Happy Days . In 1980 she made a guest appearance with the ensemble at the Berlin Theatertreffen ; she embodied the roles of "Mrs. Rastakovskaya / Sofia, cutter / Vasilisa, poor woman" in The Auditor . She took on other roles in film and radio.
