Johanna Meisel

Johanna Meisel (born before 1940) is a German film editor . She began working in the early 1940s and has been involved in more than 50 productions.

Life

Johanna Meisel began her career during the Third Reich . After the war she was one of the most successful editors in Germany and worked for DEFA in the GDR as well as for companies in the Federal Republic of Germany.

In the late 1940s and early 1950s she worked very often on Artur Brauner's productions .
