Johanna Romberg

Johanna Romberg (* 1958 ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

Johanna Romberg attended the Henri Nannen School from 1983 . She then worked for the star , before a reporter 1987 Geo changed.

Romberg received the Egon Erwin Kisch Prize twice and is one of the small group of 13 journalists who have succeeded in doing this several times since 1977. In 1987 she received the Kisch Prize for her work, Immer an der Emscher , in which she follows the Emscher in the manner of a child's play from the source to the mouth, tracking down environmental pollution and the people who have to live with it. In 1993 she received the Kisch Prize again for her report Karlagin - please ring the doorbell four times about everyday life in a Moscow residential community. In 1996 she was a member of the jury for the Henri Nannen Prize . In 2013 she was awarded the Georg von Holtzbrinck Prize for Science Journalism .

Romberg writes at GEO on a variety of topics, especially the topics of education, nature and the environment, as well as voice and singing. Her series What would if it took up various topics with the counter-factual method.

In her first book, Federlesen, the author explores the world of native birds. It was published by Bastei Lübbe on February 23, 2018 .

Johanna Romberg grew up in Duisburg, is a hobby ornithologist and lives in Hamburg .
