Johannes-Helmut Strosche

Johannes-Helmut Strosche (born January 29, 1912 in Teplitz-Schönau , Bohemia ; † May 26, 1996 in Hohenbrunn-Riemerling ) was a German educator and politician ( GB / BHE ).

Life

After attending elementary school and graduating from high school in Leitmeritz , Strosche began studying German and Slavic studies at the Charles University in Prague , which he completed with the state examination for higher education. In 1939 he was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD . From 1940 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier , was deployed on the Eastern Front and was most recently taken prisoner by the US, from which he was released in June 1945.

After his release from captivity settled Strosche as a refugee to West Germany over and settled in the Bavarian Tirschenreuth down. There he initially earned his living with tutoring and private lessons. In addition, he was involved in cultural associations and was an active member of organizations for expellees such as the Sudeten German Landsmannschaft and the Witikobund . After leaving the Bundestag, he worked in the Bavarian Ministry of Education, most recently as a ministerial councilor.

Strosche was a co-founder of the GB / BHE in Bavaria .

Strosche was a member of the Bavarian state parliament from 1950 to 1954 and chairman of the GB / BHE parliamentary group from May 1952 to September 1953. He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1957. He entered parliament through the Bavarian State List.
