Johannes Baptist Lück
Johannes Baptist Lück SCI (born May 8, 1909 in Langförden ; † October 6, 2000 ) was Bishop of Aliwal .
Life
He was ordained a priest on July 11, 1937. On March 13, 1947, the Pope appointed him Titular Bishop of Attuda and Vicar Apostolic of Aliwal . The Apostolic Delegate in Southern Africa, Martin Lucas SVD , donated him episcopal ordination on May 15 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were Franz Wolfgang Demont SCI, Apostolic Vicar Emeritus of Aliwal, and Herman Joseph Meysing OMI , Apostolic Vicar of Kimberley . On January 11, 1951, Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Aliwal.
He attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council . He resigned from his episcopate on December 17, 1973.
