ERTICO
ERTICO - ITS Europe, the "European Road Transport Telematics Implementation Coordination Organization Intelligent Transport Systems & Services Europe" (German European coordination organization for the introduction of telematics in transport systems and services in Europe ) is a company for research - services .
history
The company was founded in Brussels in 1992 on the initiative of leading members of the European Commission , transport ministries and European industry. Since its inception, ERTICO-ITS has played a leading role in the development of standards in the transport sector in Europe .
