Johannes Glasneck
Johannes Glasneck (born February 22, 1928 in Hirschberg , Silesia , † April 30, 2009 ) was a German historian .
Life
Glasneck studied history and German . He received his doctorate in 1964, Dr. phil. and in 1972 Dr. sc. phil. From 1970 he taught at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg , initially as a lecturer and from 1978 to 1991 as associate professor.
His research interests include the history of international relations and the recent history of the Middle East.
