Johannes Hüppi
Johannes Hüppi (born March 31, 1965 in Baden-Baden ) is a Swiss-German artist and painter .
Life
Johannes Hüppi is the son of Alfonso Hüppi and Brigitta Hüppi-Weber and the brother of Thaddäus Hüppi . From 1984 to 1990 Hüppi studied at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf with Fritz Schwegler and Dieter Krieg . From 1997 to 2000 he had a studio in New York City and from 2000/2001 in Miami , Florida , 2002 in Italy , 2004 to 2011 in Basel , 2012 in Spain and Korea . He has lived and worked in Baden-Baden since 2012 .
From 2004 to 2007 Johannes Hüppi was professor of painting at the University of Fine Arts Braunschweig , in 2006 he was professor at the Universidad de las Américas (UDLA) in Puebla , Mexico.
