Johannes Krämer

John Kramer (* 21st June 1948 ) is an in Frankfurt live guitarist of modern creative jazz .

Live and act

Krämer has been involved with free jazz since 1965 . Initially he played with Alfred Harth , Thomas Cremer , Franz Volhard, Thomas Stöwsand and other jazz musicians in various groups. The record Just Music , recorded in 1969, is the second to appear on the ECM label . Later in the 1970s, Johannes Krämer played for a few years in the jazz rock group Source with Heiner Goebbels , with whom he also appeared at the Moers Festival in 1984 .

With the Dutch jazz trombonist and violinist Annemarie Roelofs , with whom he was also personally connected, Krämer performed in various line- ups with other musicians such as Elvira Plenar , Malte Burba and Dirk Marwedel. He played with Roelof's band The Wastewatchers at the festival in Victoriaville, Canada in 1996 and with their Boneless Chicken at the German Jazz Festival in Frankfurt am Main in 2004. Since 2006, Johannes Krämer has had his own group with All Clear .
