John Baptist Tseng Chien-tsi

John Baptist Tseng Chien-tsi (born December 11, 1942 in Chipen ) is a Taiwanese clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop emeritus in Hualien .

Life

John Baptist Tseng Chien-tsi was ordained a priest on March 21, 1972 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Hualien and titular bishop of Sululos on May 22, 1998 . The Bishop of Hualien, Andrew Tsien Chih-ch'un , ordained him episcopally on August 29 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Lucas Liu Hsien-tang , Bishop of Hsinchu , and Leonard Hsu Ying-fa OFM , Auxiliary Bishop of Taipei .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on December 11, 2017.
