Piozzano is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 596 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Piacenza in Emilia-Romagna . The municipality is located about 21.5 kilometers southwest of Piacenza in the Val Luretta and belongs to the Comunità Montana Appennino Piacentino . Until 1875 the name of the municipality was Pomaro Piacentino and the administrative seat of the municipality was in Pomaro , one of the current eight districts of Piozzano.
