Gossolengo is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5717 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Piacenza in Emilia-Romagna . The municipality is located about 8 kilometers southwest of Piacenza on the Trebbia .

history

The bronze liver of Piacenza was found in the district of Settima in 1877 . The Etruscan artefact from the first or second century BC was used for prophecy of the gods by the Haruspex .
