John Wayne Jerry (* 14. June 1986 in Memphis , Tennessee ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Cincinnati Bengals as a guard .
High school
John Jerry attended South Panola High School in Batesville , Mississippi . In his high school career, then still in the position of defensive tackle , Jerry posted 205 tackles and 13 sacks . In his senior year he succeeded with an interception and a touchdown . In 2003 and 2004, Jerry reached the State Championship with his high school .
college
In 2006, Jerry joined the University of Mississippi and played for the Ole Miss Rebels . He won the Cotton Bowl with the Rebels in 2009 and 2010 and was elected twice to the Southeastern Conference All team. Jerry was invited to the 2010 NFL Combine , in which he was subsequently listed as No. 10 of 95 offensive tackles.

Miami Dolphins
Jerry was selected 73rd in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins . In four years with the Dolphins, he played 57 of 64 games.
New York Giants
On March 21, 2014, Jerry was signed and subsequently re-signed by the New York Giants . On March 13, 2017, he signed a new three-year contract for 10 million dollars .
Cincinnati Bengals
After the early termination of his contract on September 2, 2018 and a subsequent one-year break in the NFL, the Cincinnati Bengals signed Jerry on June 10, 2019.
Personal
In 2014, Jerry was involved in a team bullying scandal.
His two cousins, like his older brother, Peria Jerry , were also active in the NFL.
