John M. Elliott Jr. is a makeup artist .

Life

Elliott began his career in film crew in 1970 with the B-Movie - Horror Big Foot - The biggest monster of all time by director Robert F. Slatzer . Until the late 1970s, he mainly worked for television, including 15 episodes of the Wonder Woman series . From the early 1980s he received engagements in larger film productions such as Buzz Kulik's action film Every Head Has Its Price and Alan Johnson's comedy To be or not . This was followed by the blockbusters Der Rosenkrieg , Ghostbusters II andMisery . 2003 he was for Simon Wells ' fiction film Science- The Time Machine together with Barbara Lorenz for the Oscar in the category Best Makeup and Best hairstyles nominated, but won this year's biopic Frida .

In addition to his film engagements, Elliott has also worked frequently for television, including the series Buffy and Desperate Housewives . For his work, he was nominated three times for an Emmy between 1988 and 2013 , which he could not win.
