John Mark Jabalé
John Peter Mark Jabalé OSB (born October 16, 1933 in Alexandria , Egypt ) is Bishop Emeritus of Menevia .
Life
John Mark Jabalé joined the Congregation of Benedictine in, put the profession on September 29, 1953, and received on 13 July 1958, the priestly ordination . From 1993 to 2000 he was Abbot of Belmont Abbey in Herefordshire .
Pope John Paul II appointed him coadjutor bishop in the diocese of Menevia on November 7, 2000 . The episcopal ordination donated him the Bishop of Menevia, Daniel Joseph Mullins , on December 7th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Michael Ambrose Griffiths OSB, Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle , and Edwin Regan , Bishop of Wrexham .
After Daniel Joseph Mullin's resignation , he succeeded him on June 12, 2001 in the office of Bishop of Menevia. On October 16, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
