John Reesinck

John Reesinck MHM (born February 22, 1881 in Delft , Netherlands ; † November 7, 1963 ) was a Dutch Roman Catholic religious and apostolic vicar of Nilo Superiore .

Life

John Reesinck joined the Order of the Mission Society of St. Joseph of Mill Hill for and received on 19 September 1908, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 29, 1938, Pope Pius XI appointed him . the titular bishop of Thinis and Vicar Apostolic of Nilo Superiore. The Archbishop of Westminster , Arthur Cardinal Hinsley , donated him episcopal ordination on May 1 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Brentwood , Arthur Henry Doubleday , and the Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster, Edward Myers .

John Reesinck resigned as Vicar Apostolic of Nilo Superiore in March 1951.
