John Saw Yaw Han

John Saw Yaw Han (born May 5, 1968 in Homalim , Myanmar ) is a Myanmar clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Yangon .

Life

John Saw Yaw Han received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Yangon on March 18, 1995 . He was rector of the seminary there since 2011 , after having held the same position in the boys' seminary from 2008 to 2011 .

On 30 December 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Buffada and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Yangon. He was ordained episcopal on April 12 of the following year by the Archbishop of Yangon, Cardinal Charles Maung Bo SDB . Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Delegate in Myanmar, Archbishop Paul Tschang In-Nam , and the Bishop of Hpa-an , Justin Saw Min Thide .
