Paul Tschang In-Nam

Paul Tschang In-Nam ( kor .: 장인남) (born October 30, 1949 in Seoul , South Korea ) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Paul Tschang In-Nam received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Cheongju on December 17, 1976 .

On October 19, 2002 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Titular Archbishop of Amantia and ordered him to the apostolic nuncio in Bangladesh . He was ordained bishop on January 6, 2003 by John Paul II; Co-consecrators were the substitute in the Vatican State Secretariat , Archbishop of the Curia Leonardo Sandri , and the Secretary of the Congregation for the Eastern Churches , Archbishop of Curia Antonio Maria Vegliò . On August 27, 2007 Paul Tschang In-Nam became Apostolic Nuncio in Uganda . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on August 4, 2012 as Apostolic Nuncio in Thailand and Cambodia and as Apostolic Delegate in Myanmar and Laos . On August 12, 2017, Pope Francis raised his position in Myanmar to the rank of Apostolic Nuncio.
