Jolien Maliga Boumkwo (born August 27, 1993 ) is a Belgian shot putter and hammer thrower .

Athletic career

Jolien Boumkwo gained her first international experience at the 2011 World Youth Championships in Lille , where she was eliminated with 14.32 m in qualification. In 2012 she finished tenth in the final of the Junior World Championships in Barcelona . At the 2013 U23 European Championships in Tampere , she was eliminated with 15.21 m in qualification. Two years later she was sixth in the shot put at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn and was eliminated in the hammer throw with 63.24 m in the qualification. In 2016 she qualified for the 2016 European Championships in Amsterdam , where she was eliminated again in the qualification with 16.66 meters.

So far she has been Belgian champion eleven times and indoor champion six times.
