Jonás Guerrero Corona (born November 20, 1946 in El Chante ) is Bishop of Culiacán .

Life

Jonás Guerrero Corona was ordained a priest on June 5, 1976 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Assava and auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Mexico on January 29, 2000 . The Archbishop of Mexico City, Cardinal Norberto Rivera Carrera , ordained him episcopal on March 4th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Giuseppe Bertello , Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico , and Onésimo Cepeda Silva , Bishop of Ecatepec .

He was appointed bishop of Culiacan on March 18, 2011, and was introduced to the office on April 14 of the same year.
